An effective skin cleanser should be chosen carefully. Many of them contain ingredients that can be harmful to your skin. You may notice that fragrances are added to many of these products. Fragrances can cause skin irritation and even allergic reactions.

The benefit of an olive oil facial cleanser that contains Olivem 800 is that it will not cause any adverse side effects. It is absorbed easily into the skin and it will not clog your pores.

Another ingredient you should avoid is mineral oil. Mineral oil will leave your skin feeling soft; however, it will clog your pores, which will cause acne outbreaks. The cosmetic companies use this additive because it is a cheap ingredient.
